Little Acorn was voted 2015
BEST PRESCHOOL in Clark County!

Now enrolling for 2015 - 2016
school year!

Introducing Kindergarten Prep!
This class will be available for students who will be
5 by December and are ready for a more academically focused program, but not yet age appropriate for Kindergarten.  This class will be split with the Kindergarten class, offering more advanced academics and less focus on play.
Kindergarten Prep is appropriate for students who are ready for a more stringent curriculum.  It will  provide great socialization with the kindergarten class and receive an education with a serious emphasis on Kindergarten readiness.  The learning curriculum will be separate from the Kindergarten class, but all other aspects of the day will be shared.

Little Acorn Preschool and Kindergarten is sponsored by the First United Methodist Church in cooperation with the community. We appreciate this opportunity to serve families during their children's early years and accept the responsibility of offering them the finest in early childhood education. All children regardless of economic background, race, religion, or ethnic origin are welcome.
We place emphasis on the universal values as defined by the following values:
  • Teach that all life is to be valued and respected.
  • Believe each child is unique and we respect each child's timetable for developmental growth.
  • We explore the meaning of living together and teach that each person has individual rights that are to be respected.
  • We teach the children that the world is good and strive to develop in them an appreciation for its beauty and dependability by providing opportunities to explore, observe, ponder, and question.
